SNAP PAC System

SNAP PAC System is an integrated hardware and software system of the company Opto 22 for industrial control, remote control and the application for data acquisition.
It is designed to simplify the typically difficult process of understanding, design, purchase and use of automation system. SNAP PAC System consists of four integrated components:

PAC Project™ Software
Easy to use programming which is based on block diagrams, development and use of HMI (human - machine interface), optional OPC server and connection of database.

SNAP PAC control units
Individual or frame-mounted industrial control units with the ability to connect to the network.

SNAP PAC communication modules
Intelligent communications processor for distributed control of Ethernet (wired and wireless) and serial networks.

SNAP I/O™
Analog, digital and serial input-output modules for connection to technologies, machines and sensors. These four simple but flexible parts make the system which is able to cope with any application, either basic monitoring devices or complex industrial automation.

SNAP PAC System Architecture
All parts work together, regardless of the size of the system. If your system needs to expand, the investment into the development and wiring remains largely unchanged. You simply add more central communication modules and input-output modules. If new functions are required, it is possible to add additional software and control units, in minimum time and at minimal cost.
